What parents need to know about martial arts

You'll laugh, but the goal of martial arts is not to learn to swing fists. The true goal of martial arts is self-development, striving for harmony between mental and physical health.

Traveling once again to China, I met a martial artist, he was 81 years old. Looking at him, I thought he was 50, but after I saw him train and the way he moved, I thought he was 20. The man had a perfectly healthy and young body. Later I learned that he began to study kung-fu as a child and that he never used his skills in full force. Because the training gave him confidence, he has lost the need to assert himself at the expense of others and he learned how to resolve the problems peacefully.

This man is very well known and respected in the province, throughout his life he has taught tens of thousands of people, and many of them have succeeded. However, the master himself lives quite modestly and enjoys a simple life.
That person for me is a living example of the proper approach to the study of martial arts.
The Golden Dragon School of Martial Arts can give your child both spiritual and physical health. The main benefits of martial arts are confidence in oneself and in one's abilities.
You will not be able to boast about the colorful palette of belts of your child, will not be able to show off their awards and talk about the battles won. In a traditional martial arts school, the only motivation is the self-chosen path of continual self-improvement. Which eventually leads to the possibility of feeling 20 at the age of 81.
