The White Dragon Meets The Russian Dragon (2014)

Today Basil Masters, the White Dragon, stopped by the school for a visit - and on all days, our 2nd year Birthday Party! Master Valery was honored to show his awesome acquaintance the lay of the land, as well as some lightning-fast moves on the Wooden Man and the renowned - and dreaded - Two Finger Push Ups!! The two were happy to celebrate this momentous event together after their first meeting almost a year ago at the Martial Arts Hall of Fame...

Basil and Master Valery are excited to be working together, and are looking forward to pushing through numerous creative projects soon. Aside from upcoming sizzle shorts, their next project, Lessons of Fate, will be filled with action and wisdom, and will also usher in more opportunities for Golden Dragon's new Action Theater class! Stop by, and don't miss out!

"Missed a step..." or "No pain, No gain..." (2014)

Action choreography for an upcoming sizzle reel. My foot landed in the wrong spot, and the Master Valery made me pay for it! All in good fun, of course :)

Golden Dragon's 2-Year Birthday Party!
A Celebration of Life, Family, and the Future

10/11/12. This was the date that Los Angeles saw the Grand Opening of Brentwood's newest premiere martial arts school, Kung Fu of Golden Dragon. The Prosvirov family opened the school with one single-minded intention; to empower and enlighten the community through the teachings of traditional Chinese kung fu. And after two years of doing just that, coupled with numerous awards and mounds of accolades throughout the martial arts world, Master Valery has done far more than introduce people to a new art and way of life; he has helped to forge an extended family that supports one another in our quest toward self-perfection, awareness, and peace. That support and familial spirit was evident this past Saturday, Oct. 11th, when we all got together for our kwoon's 2nd year Birthday Party.

Andrés Salazar Review - "Kung Fu's world vision" (09.22.2014)

The seminar has been one of the hardest things I've ever done, although each day ended with an amazing satisfaction. The techniques and the principles have been a wake up call for me to keep training with greater focus on detail, gaining more and more control.

Bohannon's thought about the international seminar (09.21.2014)
Foreword

So, Dmitry and Master both told me today that I will be beginning my morning training much earlier than usual at the kwoon for a week while we hold a international seminar for the students from Russia "Moscow" and Colombia "Bogota". I'll finally get to meet the master's other students! How exciting! Not only do I get to fulfill a lifelong dream of living and training at a dojo all Beatrix-Kiddo-Pai-Mei style, but getting the opportunity to train and be in fellowship with other students of our art is almost like being introduced to new family. Simply from what I've seen on Facebook and videos from the other school, they all seem like awesome people. I have no doubt that this next week will change my life for the better.
